The accomodations were fitting for my needs and I especially appreciated the fact that I could hook up my laptop to a high-speed connection and do some of my volunteer web design work for a Rio-based NGO right from the Casa. I had a great time sharing my two months here in Rio with other fun young foreign nationals. I forged some great friendships with the folks here and in the end it felt like we were all a big family, which really made my trip to Rio worthwhile. This was a much better choice than renting a room by myself somewhere and being bored all of the time. The location in Botafogo was extremely convenient, as it is surrounded by shops and restaurants, is near the Metro, is right next to a huge mall, and was right in between my volunteer job in the North Zone and the party Mecca of the South Zone. All in all, I highly recommend the Casa Convivio!'

Another reason is that it's a very comfortable apartment, in the heart of Rio, nearby everything! The busstop is in front of the door and the metrostop is very near too. Just walk a few minutes and you can find everything (supermarket, laundry service, bar, cinema, commercial center...) '
